It contains Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis, Lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris, Lactococcus lactis subsp. diacetylactis, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, and skim milk powder, making it ideal for use in various applications.
The primary applications for Aroma B include Chevre and other goat-milk cheeses, as well as Havarti, Baby Swiss, Gouda, Edam, Blue, Camembert, Brie, and more. Additionally, it may also be used to make sour cream, buttermilk, creme fraiche, and cultured butter, all while promoting a buttery flavor similar to that of Flora Danica.
This multi-species mesophilic starter culture comes in a convenient screw-top mini-jar and 2.5 tsp of it can culture 10 batches, which amounts to 2-5 gallons of milk each.
