1 X Organic Kombucha Scoby-Live Culture
You will be sent one healthy Kombucha SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast) that is approximately 2 1/2 - 3 inches in diameter and about 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick. The SCOBY will be packed in around 1/4 cup of starter liquid (extra strong Kombucha tea). Upon arrival, you may observe "chunks" of yeast and bacteria starting to grow. This amount will be sufficient to ferment about two quarts of sweet tea. With each new batch of tea, a new baby SCOBY will develop - allowing you to potentially increase your production with each batch. You will also receive instructions on how to set up and maintain your Kombucha brew. It is important to note that the size, texture, and color of each SCOBY will vary. Organic Puerh Scoby
